Birthday Frame

Hi.  On Saturday night I went to a friend's birthday party.  I made this picture frame for her.

The frame is a wooden frame that my mom bought at AC Moore.

I painted it two shade of purple.

I layered 3 flowers........ 

a large white paper flower, a purple fabric flower and a light purple paper flower.  

I added a aqua gem to the center and added a green leaf.

I punched 4 butterflies from aqua card stock and added diamond stickles to them.

I added 5 aqua gems to the bottom inside corner.

Mermaid Card

This is my mermaid card for this week's challenge at 2 Sisters Challenges.  I was so excited that I got a chance to join the DT again for this week's challenge. I used Mermaid With Sea Horse from our sponsor Paper Nest Dolls for my image.

I colored the image with colored pencils and added crystal stickles.  I also drew the seaweed onto my card.

Valentine Box

We are going to be having a Valentine's party at school on Thursday. We were suppose to each make a box to hold our Valentine's in.  I made my out of a tissue box.

My mom helped me cover the box in white card stock and add a piece of pink and white striped patterned paper around the top.  Then we added pink glitter ribbon around the box to hide where the white and striped paper meet.

Here is the front of my box.  I added gold stickers to spell out my name and added Tweety Bird stickers.  I drew hearts, dots and squiggly lines using glitter glue.

 

Here are the sides of my box. I added more stickers and more glitter glue.  See the bumble bee Tweety? I added that because our school masscot is a bumble bee.

Here is the back of my box. I added more stickers and more glitter glue but I also added "Valentine's Day!" 

 

 

Here is what the top of my box looks like. I added more ribbon (my mom helped me with this because it was hard to add the tape to the top of the box and I wanted to make sure it would stay stuck down).  After the ribbon was on I added more hearts and squiggly lines using glitter glue.

Hearts

Here is my DT project for this week's challenge at 2 Sisters Challenges. Our theme is hearts and our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish.  I decided to alter a notebook this week. Here it is. . . . . .

 

I started with a mini notebook. I covered the front and back in heart patterned paper.  I added pink glitter paper ribbon.  I added a red heart die cut and added silver, pink and red gltter to it. I even added my initials (RLD) using glitter glue.  I added a white heart sticker to the red heart and a pink heart sticker to the top corner.

Patriotic Kitty

Hi. I made this card using this really cute kitty from Di's Digi Downloads.  I made a red, white and blue card to celebrate the 4th of July.  I just went to the fireworks for the first time on the 4th. I usually watch them from a distance from my porch and see just a very little over the top of the trees.  But this time we actually went into town and watched them.  They were so cool!!!  And tonight my mommy and daddy are talking about taking us to more fireworks in another town. I can't wait!!

Halloween Card

This is the card I made for  Jen's Digi Stamp Kids Challenge.  Jen gave us kids a free image to create a card with. I love this horse all dressed up in his halloween costume. CUTE! My Aunt Stacy cut the spider out for me on her cricut. I thought he was perfect to add to my spider web paper.  My mommy helped me cut my papers.  (I am getting better at my cutting but I don't use the paper trimmer by myself yet so I needed a little help.) I hope you like my card!

Dragonfly

Gingerloft has a freebie image to use. This is the card I made with it.  I colored the image with colored pencils. I used chalk for the sky and water. You can't really see it but in the corner I added a sun with chalk. I added a dragonfly button at the bottom and blue gems at the top. I got a little help adding the sentiment.

Kitty Birthday

I made this birthday card for my Sunday School teacher. She just had a birthday this week. The image is from Di's Digi Downloads. It is called Kitty-Kitten.

I am entering this card into the 2 Sisters bingo challenge. I used all 9 bingo squares on my card. I used blue, pink, yellow and purple for the PASTELS square. My mommy helped me use the paper trimmer to cut out my paper and she helped me cut my image out too. I punched a strip of white paper using an eyelet lace border punch for the LACE square and also the PUNCHES/DIE CUTS square. My mommy helped me emboss my yellow piece of paper using a cuttlebug embossing folder and her sizzix machine for the EMBOSSING square. I added a piece of sheer light purple and white dotted ribbon and my mommy helped me make a bow using the same ribbon for the RIBBON square. I used 2 pieces of pink felt swirls for the SWIRLS square. I added (with the help of my mommy) some crystal stickles to the swirls. I also added some more stickles glitter to the bow on the kitty and the flowers she is holding for the GLITTER square. I added a purple flower that my Aunt Stacy made me for the FLOWER square. I also added some stickles to that too. I added 3 gems to the top corner. 1 light purple, 1 light blue and 1 light green for the GEMS/PEARLS square.
